However they still retain 100N of foam buoyancy and are a great solution for those who want the reassurance of a jacket offering a head collar and airway support compared to a standard 50N buoyancy aid. The Spiral is fitted with a foam collar for head support and has crotch straps which must be used ensuring a smaller child does not slide through the buoyancy aid.
