The Crewfit 165N automatic comes in 2 versions this, harness version and the non harness version. The fit and style of the 2 versions is identical. The only difference is that the harness version has a reinforced buckle and a “strong point” loop. This Harness allows a deck safety line to be attached. The Harness 165N Sport is Primarily used by sailors allowing them to safely work on a foredeck in rougher weather. The Non Harness version is ideal for recreational powerboaters and inshore sailing where a safety line would not be usually used. The 165N sport automatic lifejacket has a UML automatic firing system which requires the lifejacket to be fully soaked/immersed to set it off. These automatic firing systems are widely used and rarely go off accidentally, assuming the lifejacket is not kept in a locker full of water or similar!
