The use of a horizontal eye allows for a stable knot position, in turn, creating a more stable action from the bait no matter the retrieve speed, while the 60° diagonal angle of the eye improves hooking efficiency by increasing the hook gape. The inclusion of the W Guard (double weed guard) allows tight approaches into cover and through overhangs, allowing the bait to get deep into the places where the fish love to hide.
